Our Story

NeatEx was established in 2010 by two young men. Before starting their own laundry business, they were working in a dry cleaning business in London as junior members of staff. They had innovative minds and always tried to examine new methods of cleaning. As they wanted to use techniques that were environmentally friendly and also effective, they explored different ways to clean stains, remove shrinkages and keep the colour blending.

But soon they wondered why they should not have their own business. “It felt like we wanted to start a new life”, one of the co-owners says. “To Start our new dry cleaning business, we needed initial capital. We decided to sell whatever we could, and ask for financial support from our families.” Finally, they started their business in North London and tried to be committed to their goals: eco-friendly cleaning.

How long does the laundry process take?

Depending on your clothes, the delivery period may differ. In general, we need at least 24 hours for our express laundry service.

What is the difference between laundry and dry cleaning?

In the laundry, the water is used. As the name indicates, it is a wet washing; because clothes are floating in water and solvent. Solvents can include soap, detergents, softener and water. In dry cleaning, as the name implies, the water is not involved, but advanced chemical solvents are applied for cleaning tough stains and germs.

We have solutions for almost all types of stains, but sometimes some stains may not be completely removed. Our solutions work 100% when you deliver your clothes to us as soon as possible after they get dirty.

Is it possible to remove the old stains?

Some stains are hard to clean because they are old. But at NeatEx we do our best to find a solution for cleaning all kinds of old or new stains and spots.

How can I remove the stains on cotton?

It is a resistible fabric against warm water, drying and soaking. Stains on cotton will easily be removed by detergent, bleach and light acid or natural cleaners such as vinegar and lemon juice.

How can I remove the blood from my clothes?

First, if the blood is fresh, wet the fabric with cold water but if it’s dried, soak it in warm water. You can remove it by using 3 percent hydrogen or white vinegar. You can also wet the area and pour salt on it, then rub the cloth. Detergent and bleach are useful, too. Soak fabric for 10 or 15 minutes in them. At last, the best possible method is to leave your clothes at our experts’ hands.
